20 million years old ... gone in 60 seconds

Before...and after
Along the southeast coast of Australia, in the state of Victoria (East of Melbourne), is the Great Ocean Road. Think of it as an Australian version of California's Highway 1 through Big Sur. One of the landmarks on this road is a cluster of monolithic limestone rocks off the coast named The Twelve Apostles. There are actually only 9 of them. Now, there are only 8. Sunday, one collapsed. It was witnessed by a small number of tourists who took the photos seen here.
